During the European Development Days in June 2019 the Live Skills Project Co-ordination team at the British Council met colleagues and participants who are part of the Tahawer Project. Tahawer seeks to build the confidence of young people in Iraq through training and skills development, to have respectful, self-aware and tolerant debates on challenging topics. We were really inspired by Genesis and Muaamar, two young Iraqi rappers who are sharing their music - and they gave us their feedback on the potential of Live Skills for creative skills development for young people in Iraq.
